eathalal.eu is operated from Vienna, Austria. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Austria's Datenschutzgesetz. This page explains what that means in practice.
Information we collect
When you submit a restaurant or contact us, we collect what you type into the form — typically a name, email address and the content of your message or submission. We use this to respond to you and to review the submission.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Vercel) and our analytics provider (planned: Plausible or Umami, both privacy-friendly and cookieless) log standard request data such as IP address, user-agent and page visited.
What we don't do
We do not sell personal data. We do not run third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels or fingerprinting scripts. If we add Google AdSense in the future, we will update this page and request consent through a clearly-labelled banner before any ad scripts load.
Cookies
We currently use only essential cookies needed to remember your language preference. We do not use marketing or tracking cookies. If this changes, the cookie banner will let you accept or reject non-essential cookies before they load.
Your GDPR rights
You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. We respond within 30 days.

Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and post a short summary of the change.
